Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität
A composition by master craftsmen When a building looks like the sides of a harp from above and like an accordion from the front, when a ‘resonating body of art’ has been created, then the new building of the Anton Bruckner University in Linz is complete.
The interior of the building is characterised by many islands of light and the light-coloured parquet flooring in cashmere oak. Great importance is attached to the acoustics in the newly constructed rooms. The raw material wood is a welcome and perfect supporter. The strip-look parquet – unique and only from Weitzer Parkett – has a positive effect on the room acoustics. The surface guarantees durability, which is also expected under heavy use.
