Lakeside Seeboden
GRIFFNER has always relied on architectural expertise and high-quality construction, with decades of experience in timber construction. Careful handling of building materials, energy, and a strong ecological awareness are central concerns of the owner family and the GRIFFNER company.
The residents of GRIFFNER homes live in a healthy living environment – with light, air, and design freedom included. Mag. Georg C. Niedersüß, owner and managing director of GRIFFNER Haus: “Creating homes means designing a space that meets your own needs and makes you feel comfortable – from planning to construction to interior design. We offer all of this from a single source, with the highest possible level of customization.”
The stunning location of the Lakeside Seeboden project makes the property truly special: The view sweeps freely from the terrace or balcony over the lake and the sky. With much experience and creativity, GRIFFNER, together with its project partners, the renowned Salzburg architect Bernd Ramsauer and planconsort ztgmbh, has created something extraordinary and unique here.
This small, yet exclusive project of the highest class harmonizes with the natural features of the land and also offers a private lakeside property, allowing unimpeded access to the crystal-clear water. Three spacious apartments and one house have been built, all with flexible interior zoning options. Like the well-known GRIFFNER model types, there are no load-bearing interior walls here. Static loads are transferred through a few columns using the patented Open Space® concept. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows connect the interior with the balcony or terrace.
Innovative wall systems, in combination with natural building materials, create an incredibly comfortable indoor climate and also ensure excellent energy efficiency. Like every GRIFFNER home, the Lakeside Seeboden project meets the low-energy house standard. With the appropriate technical installation, it can easily fall below the current energy-saving regulations.
The showcase project is also distinguished by exceptional details. These include visible solid wood ceilings, wood-aluminum windows with shading, central underfloor heating, solid wood stairs, and real wood parquet floors in all living and sleeping areas.
Niedersüß: “Even though Lakeside Seeboden does not meet conventional demand, it excellently demonstrates what GRIFFNER stands for: quality, individuality, and natural building materials.”
