“Living by the Water” was developed by “RichterArchitektur” in collaboration with the municipality of Königsdorf. Directly at the idyllic natural swimming lake – with a total area of 210,000 m² – 40 holiday homes were built that blend harmoniously into the landscape and are ready for year-round use. Over the past few years, the lake area has been expanded to include lounging zones, a kids’ play area with slides, islands, an adventure playground, beach volleyball courts, and a lakeside buffet offering regional delicacies. Those seeking peace and quiet will find plenty of space on the 1.5-hectare sunbathing lawn to retreat for relaxation and tranquility.
